Vincent S. Bonfanti, 78, of Ewing, NJ, entered into his eternal rest with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, Vincent was a lifelong area resident. He attained an Associate Degree and was employed as a field service engineer working for The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. He was a U.S. AirForce veteran who served honorably as did his late father Samuel Bonfanti who was a Private First Class in the Army who was killed in Germany during World War II. Vincent loved gardening, woodworking, cooking, painting, and reading. He fought to the very end to stay and was still making homemade sauce for his daughter and teaching his grandson his woodworking skills only days prior to his death. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Son of the late Samuel Bonfanti and Theresa (Bellanca) Vattimo; loving husband of the late Carole Joan (Tardino) Bonfanti for over 50 years; uncle of the late John Michael Tardino; Vincent is survived by his three children, Karen Davison, Vincent Bonfanti, and Michele and husband Carlo Cavalli; five grandchildren, Brianna, Mykala, and Devin Davison, and Matthew and Mia Cavalli; a brother Peter Vattimo; a brother-in-law, John Tardino and wife Alice; a special cousin, Joan and husband Joseph Turco; as well as other family and friends.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Cremation is private and services will be held privately at a later date.
