Victor Antonio Rivera, Sr., 78, of Trenton, entered his eternal rest on Friday, November 18, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. Victor was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico. He was a shop foreman at GTE in Trenton and then went onto work as a bus driver for First Student. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed working on cars. He loved to watch wrestling. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Son of the late Demetrio and Marcelina (Rios) Rivera; he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Annabelle (Ayala) Rivera; his two sons, Victor A. Rivera, Jr. and wife Jeanette, and Felix Rivera and wife Megan; three grandchildren, Christian, Victor A. III, and Nicholas Rivera; seven siblings, Esther Rivera, Hilda Rivera, Digna Collazo, Aristides Rivera, Efrain Rivera, Lucy Rivera, and Marcelina Rivera; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
Catholic prayer services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619 with clergy from the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Ln., Hamilton, NJ.
