Tyler Glen Ford, 29, of Hamilton, tragically passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Born in Bristol, PA, Tyler was raised in Levittown, PA where he resided until 2014 before moving to Hamilton Township, NJ. Tyler was a Freemason who loved fishing, especially with his father. He was a fan of both the Eagles and the Phillies. Tyler took great pride in his career with the Department of Corrections, where he proudly served as a Correctional Police Sergeant.
Tyler is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Richard Ford, his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Kathleen Hirschfield. Tyler is survived by his son Jackson Ford, who meant everything to him; his loving parents, Glen and Cindy (Hirschfield) Ford; his brother Garrett Ford, his girlfriend and mother of his son, Alexa Chell, his grandmother, Rosemarie Grzincic; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends. The young family shared a love for dogs and together they had three; Demi, Cooper, and Maci, who are already missing him.
Catholic funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 12:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Family and friends may pay their respects prior to services from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow services in the Rosedale Memorial Park, 3850 Richlieu Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020. Full funeral honors will be provided by the New Jersey Department of Corrections.
