Theresa Ann (Fratarcangeli) Meckel

Theresa A. Meckel (nee Fratarcangeli), 83, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on September 20, 2022, surrounded by family members.

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Theresa was a graduate of Trenton High School, class of 1956. She was a long-time resident of Hamilton, NJ with her husband, Edward, and her two sons, Mark and Chris. She was a long-time employee of Hamilton Township Board of Education. 

Theresa was a devout Catholic and a member of Saint Raphael’s Church in Hamilton. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, lunch dates with her friends, and cooking delicious food. 

Daughter of the late Frank and Mary Fratarcangeli, and sister of the late Joseph Fratarcangeli, and Martha Sekaras; she is survived by her sister Joann (Anthony) Manto, her brother Frank (Carol) Fratarcangeli, her two sons, Mark (Barbara) Meckel, Chris (Shannon) Meckel, and Nancy Meckel, her grandchildren, Marissa, Megan, Mark Anthony, Ryan (Meridith), and Kylie Meckel, along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. 

Family and friends are invited to call from 8:30 to 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Saint Anthony’s Church, 626 South Olden Avenue Trenton, NJ 08629.
