Stanley "Steve" Parish

Stanley “Steve” Parish, 74, of Robbinsville, NJ, entered into his eternal rest with the Lord on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Elms of Cranbury with his daughter Gia at his side.  Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident.  Steve was a graduate of Trenton Central High School Class of 1966, he also attained his Associate’s degree.  He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Trenton and a member of the AHEPA Trenton Chapter 72 for 48 years.  He served as the catcher on the St. George softball team  in the 70’s and 80’s and coached the AHEPA and St. George basketball teams in the 90’s. Steve was a passionate player and coach.  He was proud of his Greek heritage and volunteered at many of the church festivals over the years. 

In the early 70’s he owned and operated Parish Floor Covering on Chambers St. in Trenton, then he owned WW Floor Covering on Sloan Ave. in Hamilton during the 70’s and 80’s and then in the 90’s he owned and operated Contract Flooring on College St. in Trenton.  Steve was a fan of the NY Yankees and the NY Giants.  

Steve was predeceased by his parents George and Mary (Rigas) Parish.  He is survived by his beloved daughter Gianine Parish; his grandson who was his pride and joy, Ronnie Angelo or “RA” as he affectionately nicknamed him; as well as other family and many friends.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Klockner Rd., Hamilton, NJ.  Greek Orthodox funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the church.  Burial will be Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ following the services.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.  Please visit Steve’s tribute page at https://www.brennacellinifuneralhomes.com
