Rose Mildred (Cartella) Tella

Rose M. Tella, 95, of Ewing, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Greenwood House in Ewing, NJ surrounded by her loving family.  She was born and raised in Shenandoah, PA.  Rose was retired from General Motors.  Rose was a member of the Lawrence Senior Citizens.  She loved caring for her grandchildren and cooking for her family.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Scarpino) Cartella; mother of the late Stephen Tella; sister of the late Mary Pangaldi and Elizabeth Blackwell; sister-in-law of the late Doris Cartella; Rose is survived by her daughter Josephine (Ronald) Waseleski; a daughter-in-law Ann Tella; 4 grandchildren Michael (Allison) Waseleski, David (Missy) Waseleski, Eric Waseleski, and Stephen Tella; 3 great-grandchildren Josie, Lily, and Reid Waseleski; a sister Frances Patas; a brother Dominic Cartella; and many nieces and nephews.

Catholic funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023 at 11am at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638.  Burial will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery, Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ.  Calling hours will be held that morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rose’s memory to the Greenwood House, 53 Walter St., Ewing, NJ 08628.  Please visit Rose’s tribute page at www.brennacellinifuneralhomes.com
