Robert Douglas Obituary

Robert (Bob) Paul Douglas (76) passed away on November 13, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital – Serenity. Bob was born in New York City and lived in Hamilton Square, NJ and most recently Freehold, NJ. He served in the US Army in Vietnam Sgt. SP4 where he received a Purple Heart among other medals. Bob retired from Eastman Kodak in 1999 from the motion picture division in NYC.

Survived by his daughter, Shannon "Shay“ Douglas, former wife Patricia Shannon Douglas, grandson Robert “Robbie” Parker Douglas. Bob was unfortunately Predeceased by his son Robert “Rob” Patrick Douglas in April 2022.

An avid NY Giants and NY Mets fan along with the Pittsburg Penguins hockey team. Bob also enjoyed spending time at Freehold and Monmouth race tracks.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
