Miguel Castillo de Leon Obituary

Miguel Angel Castillo, 47, of Florence, NJ, died Monday, November 20, 2023 unexpectedly.  He was born in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala to parents Hugo Castillo and Edelmira Hernandez.  He resided in Florence, NJ for the past 9 years.  He was formerly employed as the night maintenance manager at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.  He was a truck driver who owned and operated Morris Express.  
Miguel enjoyed riding his motorcycle, horse riding, hunting, and going to the shooting range.  
He was good at singing and even sang the first song for his wedding, and sang at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption.  
He loved watching brain time, funny videos with his daughter Isabella, and they would both laugh so hard, sometimes even trying hard not to laugh to see who could hold out the longest.
He loved nothing more than time spent with his family, especially his beloved children.

Son of the late Hugo Castillo; brother of the late Carlos Efren Castillo de Leon; grandson of the late Miguel Angel de Leon, and Efren and Laura Castillo.
Miguel is survived by his wife of 11 years, Maria (Leon) Castillo; his four daughters, Isabella, Mikaela, Pauline, and Jasmine Castillo;his stepson, Raymond Delgado; his two grandchildren, Naomi and Messai; his mother, Edelmira Hernandez; his maternal grandmother, Angelita de Leon; his six siblings, Anita, Chita, Roberto, Jorge, Hugo, and Flor de Maria Castillo; five brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Juan Carlos, Gina, Marlene, Anita, and Holger Leon; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Family and friends may pay their respects to Miguel on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 151 N.
