Mauricio Gerardo Segura-Porras

Mauricio Segura-Porras, 50, of Trenton, entered into God’s eternal care on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Capital Health Systems – Hopewell.  Mauricio was born on November 21, 1972, in San Jose, Costa Rica.  On December 18, 1993 in San Jose, Costa Rica he married his loving wife Adriana and shared 30 years of a loving and beautiful marriage together.  Anyone who knew them was able to witness the true love they had for each other which will live on forever.  Mauricio was a man who dedicated his life to his family and friends.  His stories and funny personality always helped him light up a room whenever he walked in.  His love for soccer, dancing, and listening to music were just some of the things that he enjoyed in life.  Most of all, he was a very joyful, selfless, loving, hardworking man, husband, and father who loved his family unconditionally.  

Mauricio was preceded in death by his parents Alvaro Segura and Cecilia Porras. He is survived by his loving wife, Adriana Rodriguez-Valverde; his children, Karen and Mariana Segura; his siblings, Alvaro and Javier Segura; as well as many other family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, Hamilton, NJ 08619.  A prayer service will be held at 4:30 pm at the funeral home.  Family and friends are invited to leave a condolence on Mauricio’s tribute page at brennacellinifuneralhomes.com

Mauricio Segura-Porras, de 50 años, de Trenton, entró en el cuidado eterno de Dios el viernes 12 de mayo de 2023 en Capital Health Systems – Hopewell. Mauricio nació el 21 de noviembre de 1972 en San José, Costa Rica. El 18 de diciembre de 1993 en San José, Costa Rica se casó con su amada esposa Adriana y compartieron 30 años de un amoroso y hermoso matrimonio juntos. Cualquiera que los conociera pudo ser testigo del verdadero amor que tenían el uno por el otro, que vivirá para siempre. Mauricio fue un hombre que dedicó su vida a su familia y amigos. Sus historias y su personalidad divertida siempre lo ayudaron a iluminar una habitación cada vez que entraba. Su amor por el fútbol, ​​el baile y la música eran solo algunas de las cosas que disfrutaba en la vida. Sobre todo un esposo y padre muy alegre, desinteresado, cariñoso y trabajador que amaba incondicionalmente a su familia.

A Mauricio le precedieron en la muerte sus padres Alvaro Segura y Cecilia Porras. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Adriana Rodríguez-Valverde; sus hijas, Karen y Mariana Segura; sus hermanos, Álvaro y Javier Segura; así como muchos otros familiares y amigos.

Se llevará a cabo una visita conmemorativa el domingo 21 de mayo de 2023 de 3:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m. en Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
