Mary Theresa Lynn, 85, of Pennington, NJ, entered her eternal rest with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Capital Health Hopewell. Mary was born in Camden, NJ to Leon and Mary Schipane on April 6, 1937 and raised in Oaklyn, NJ. Mary attended Camden Catholic High School and subsequently clerked at an insurance company until her children were born and she joyfully devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Whether it be helping in the school nurse’s office, running Girl Scout cookie drives, or attending sporting and school events, Mary was always present to support her family. She was a kind and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, Godmother, and friend to many.
Daughter of the late Leon and Mary (Dougherty) Schipane; beloved wife of the late E. Duane Lynn; Mary is survived by her three daughters, Sharon L. and husband Robert Theer, Susan M. Lynn, and Stacey A. and husband Theodore Pocwierz Jr.; nine grandchildren, Steven Theer and wife Annie, Jonathan Theer and wife Jenna, Christopher Theer and fiancee Melanie DeLaRosa, Kimberly Pocwierz and fiance Jacob Lyngdal, Dean Edward Pocwierz, Alexander Joseph Pocwierz, Callie Marie Lynn, Victoria Lynn Pocwierz, and Zachary Duane Lynn; three great-grandchildren, Landon, Andrew, and Cora Theer; two Goddaughters, Cathy McCall and Colleen Rodgers; as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington, NJ. Burial will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Duane. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday morning prior to the mass from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638.
