Mary Cecelia (Rogers) Carlisi

Mary Cecelia (Rogers) Carlisi, 85, of Newtown, PA, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong resident for most of her life.  She retired from the New Jersey Lottery.  Mary loved her family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her beloved grandchildren.  Mary was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Miotla) Rogers; mother of the late Tommy Carlisi; sister to 5 late brothers, and her sister Dee Rogers whom she was very close to.  Mary is survived by her five children, Pasquale Carlisi, Jr., Angeline Carlisi-Farkas and husband Carl, Sylvia and husband Louis Burkhalter, Teresa Carlisi, and Marylynn and husband Frank Dileo; ten grandchildren, Sean Carlisi, Nicholas Carlisi and wife Judy, Alexis Farkas, Justin Carlisi and wife Kate, Jordan Burkhalter and wife Liz, Zachary and Emma Burkhalter, Matthew Carlisi-Hernandez, Andrew Brower, and Frank Dileo, Jr.; ten great grandchildren, Sean Dillon, and Michelangelo Carlisi, Jordan Burkhalter, Jr., Louis Burkhalter, Gregory, Kyle, Gabriella, Andilynn, Avalina, and Aliyana Brower; seven siblings; a Goddaughter and niece, Michele Villalba and her daughters, Jasmine, Joscelin, and Jadira; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. Cremation was private.  Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her son Tommy.
