Linda (Gearl) Mollica

Linda Mollica, age 66, of Ewing, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Capital Health at Hopewell. She graduated from Union High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kean College.  She went on to earn her Masters degree from Lehigh University.  She was the former Assistant Director for the NJ Higher Education Student Assistance Authority.  Linda led an active lifestyle.  She volunteered in several organizations to which she freely gave her time and expertise.  She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and many dear friends.  When she was not on the go, she relaxed  with a good book in the company of her two beloved cats, Heidi and Jet.  

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. Gearl, Sr. and Frances Gearl; husband Joseph P. Mollica; and brothers, Charles Arthur Gearl, Jr. and Dennis Gearl; she is survived by her father-in-law, Louis Mollica; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Sq., NJ.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cedar Ln., Hamilton, NJ.  Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday evening September 26, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in her memory to EASEL Animal Rescue League & Shelter, 4 Jake Garzio Drive, Ewing, NJ 08628 or online at www.easelnj.org  Please visit Linda’s tribute page at www.brennacellinifuneralhomes.com
