Obituary

Lester L. Lathers, Jr., 65, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Samaritan Hospice at Virtua in Mount Holly, NJ.  Born in Trenton, NJ, Lester was a lifelong area resident.  He was formerly employed as a custodian for the Hamilton Township Board of Education working out of Nottingham High School.  Lester was a former coach for the Babe Ruth baseball league for several years in Ewing, NJ.  He was a Raiders fan and loved taking trips to Atlantic City.  He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Son of the late Lester Sr. and Marie (Schifano) Lathers; brother-in-law of the late Veronica Lathers; Lester is survived by his brother, Lawrence “Larry” Lathers; his two nephews, Michael Lathers (also his Godson) and fiancee Sarah, and Jonathan Lathers and wife Nicole; as well as his best friend and roommate, Pat. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends.
