Joseph Anthony Franceschini

Joseph A. Franceschini, 52, of Lawrence Township, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Capital Health Hopewell in Hopewell, NJ.  Born in Trenton, NJ he was a lifelong area resident, who resided in Lawrenceville since 1995.  He was a graduate of Notre Dame’s Class of 1988, and he attended Rider College.  He worked as an Information Technology Specialist first for Bristol Myers Squibb, then at Bracco Diagnostics Inc. in Monroe, NJ for the last 27 years.  He loved playing soccer, and coaching soccer, all of his children played soccer.  He coached children in soccer, the soccer field was his favorite place to be.  Joseph was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, who loved fishing, golfing, playing old school arcade games like Galaga, and vacationing with his family to the Outer Banks, NC.  He also loved the family dog, Stella.  He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Son of the late Joseph Vito and Jennie Marie (Naticchia) Franceschini; brother-in-law of the late Kurt Palek; Joseph is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kelli Ann (Maguire) Franceschini; his three children, Andrew, Patrick, and Emily Franceschini; his brother, Dr. John Franceschini and wife Valerie; two sisters, Joanne Palek, and Juliana and husband Brian Egbert; a brother-in-law, James Maguire; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Ann, 1253 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ.  Cremation will follow the mass and will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O.
