Jose Ramon Quinones Torres

Jose Ramon Quinones Torres, 73, of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he had resided in the Trenton area for the past   years.  He was last employed by Taylor Provisions in Trenton, NJ.  Jose enjoyed doing odd jobs and repairs around the house.  He enjoyed shooting pool, watching baseball, especially the NY Yankees. In his younger years he also played baseball for los Liones de Ponce.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Son of the late Carmelo and Dolores (Torres) Quinones; brother of the late Jose Luis Quinones, and Mayra Ivelisse Quinones; Jose is survived by his wife Iris (Montalvo) Quinones; six children, Anna Milagro, Maria de los Angeles, Jose Ramon Quinones, Jr., Ivelisse Rivera, Sheila de Jesus, Iris Desiree Quinones, and Ashley Quinones who was his granddaughter but he raised her as his own daughter; many other grandchildren, and great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and other family and many friends.
