John M. Rainiero, 79, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ he was a lifelong area resident. He retired after 40 years of employment as a Supervising engineer with the State of NJ Department of Transportation. He was a member of DOTRA, and a lifetime member of the Clover Rod & Gun Club. John was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church. John was an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved nothing more than time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Son of the late Michael Angelo and Felicia “Fanny” (Yaros) Rainiero. John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Camille M. (Sgrenci) Rainiero; his two sons, Michael Dominick Rainiero and wife Brittany, and John Christopher Rainiero and wife Nina; two grandchildren, Mateo and Luciana Rainiero; a sister, Donna and husband Richard Angioletti; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Sgrenci and Peter Sgrenci and wife Tanya; a sister-in-law, Mariann and husband Jimmy Anderson; as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Memorial visitation will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ.
