John Jude Hodge

John Jude Hodge, 57, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.  Born in Trenton, NJ, John was a lifelong area resident.  He was a graduate of Trenton Central High School Class of 1983.  John was employed as a butcher for the past 11 years at Foley’s Family Market in Hamilton, NJ.  John was a huge Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles fan.  He loved his morning routine of watching Antenna TV shows like Let’s Make A Deal, The Price is Right, and Married with Children.  He enjoyed doing scratch off lottery tickets.  John coached girls softball and served as a referee. He married his wife on his 50th birthday on September 19, 2015, they had known each other since childhood and had dated for 8 years prior to marrying.  He loved the water and their yearly trips to Point Pleasant to celebrate both his birthday and their anniversary.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Son of the late Charles and Claire (Beysan) Hodge; brother of the late Donna Lowe; John is survived by his loving wife, Lisa (Guarnieri) Hodge; his two daughters, Heather and Michelle Hodge; his six siblings, Valerie and husband Robert “Bob” Pfaff, Maureen and husband Gary Pierson, Scott Hodge and wife Rae, Celeste and husband Frank Aragon, Vance Hodge, and Lisa and husband Chris Parker; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.  Catholic prayer services will begin at noon followed by burial in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ.
