Joan K. LoPrinzi, age 82, of Hamilton Square, passed away on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023 in Preferred Care at Hamilton with her caring nurse Barb at her side. Born in Trenton, Joan graduated from Trenton High School in 1958 and wed her “Joey” Joseph LoPrinzi in Sept,1961. They were together for 50 years and had two daughters Marie and Anita. Joan worked for the State of NJ for 2 years as a stenographer/typist before getting married. She became a secretary, real estate and insurance agent in her 40+ year career with Adlerman & Click Realtors and Insurance and The Adlerman Agency. Joan enjoyed traveling with Joey around the USA especially to the Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Arcadia National Parks. She loved animals, flower gardens, sunsets, art and music. Going to Point Pleasant, NJ and being at the coast collecting shells with family were two of her favorite pastimes. Joan was very close to her daughters and adored her husband's large family of 6 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law and their spouses.
Daughter of the late Harry Moore Sr. and Elsie (Higgins) Moore, sister to the late Harry Moore Jr., the widow of Joseph A. LoPrinzi, sister-in-law to the late Joan Metz LoPrinzi and Marion Smith. Joan is survived by her daughters, Marie and partner Jon Borkowski, Anita and her husband AllenTobias, five (total) beloved grandchildren, Alaina, Leanna, Allen M. and two grandsons by marriage, Cory Tobias and Matthew Reibson Tobias, and one great-granddaughter, Raine Elise Sunflower Tobias.
Brothers-in-law, Augustino LoPrinzi and wife Carol, Salvatore LoPrinzi, Vincent LoPrinzi, Thomas LoPrinzi and wife Ann, Paul LoPrinzi, Michael LoPrinzi and sisters-in-law Cheryl LoPrinzi, Joyce LoPrinzi, and Josephine ”Jo” Bruder and husband Fred Bruder; and cousins Marie Zakaluk, Joe LoPrinzi, and Rosanne Bazzone and husband Tom; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10th, 2023 at the Hamilton Brenna - Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
Family and friends may call from 1pm- 3pm at the funeral home with the memorial service to follow at 3:15pm.
Burial will be private on Monday, March 13th at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
