James M. Lombardo Sr., 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at home.
Born in Trenton, James “Jim/Pops” grew up in North Trenton and was a graduate of Trenton Central High School Class of 1966. James resided in Hamilton for the past 51years.
James was a Vietnam Veteran, serving as an Army Ranger. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
James retired after 30 years from the Hamilton Twp. Water Pollution Control Department, where he served as a Supervisor, Sewage Plant Operator.
James loved taking long rides on his Harley with his son Jimmy, and spending time with his brothers within the DSMC family. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman.
James was a member of the Dragon Slayers MC, Mercer County Chapter; VFW Post 3525; American Legion Post 458, and a Lifetime member of the Hamilton Fire Company.
Son of the late Michael and Rose (Harrison) Lombardo, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51years, Patricia (Hildebrandt) Lombardo; his son & daughter-in-law, James Jr. & Susan Lombardo; his daughter, Sherry Lombardo; grandchildren, Michael and Anthony Lombardo, Brandon Storley, and Chloe DeLise.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Catholic prayer services to begin at 10:45 AM followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
