James C. Howat III, 79, passed away on August 25, 2023. Jim was born in Camden, NJ on January 4, 1944. He resided in East Windsor, NJ for over 25 years.
Jim was predeceased by his parents James and Lucy (Rochester) Howat, his wife Lois Howat to whom he was married for 29 years.
He is survived by his sons Christopher J. Howat & David Scott Howat and their families. He is also survived by his son James W. Pruce and his wife Delores. Granddaughters Peyton and her husband Sean Wulf and Teagan Pruce. He was a great-grandfather to Archer W. Wulf.
Jim was known affectionately as Pops to many that loved him dearly. He was an avid sports fan, but he loved his NY Giants and Notre Dame the most. He was also a big dog lover and always had treats with him.
In his younger years he loved to travel and spend time on the Jersey Shore. He loved to vacation with his wife and grand daughters.
Jim will be missed and forever loved by his many friends and family. Rest in Peace Pops!
A celebration of his life will be a private event for friends and family at a date to be determined.
