Ines Margarita (Rivas) Gonzalez

Ines Gonzalez, 62, of Hamilton, entered into her eternal rest with the Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Cojitambo, Ecuador, Ines immigrated to the United States with her family on April 20, 1996 and has resided in the Hamilton area since.  She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish in Trenton.  She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.  She loved nothing more than caring for and spoiling her grandchildren.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Ines is preceded in death by her parents, Luis A. Rivas and Maria Clementina Leon; and her brother, Jugo Rivas.  Ines is survived by her husband of 42 years, Francisco S. Gonzalez; her three children, Jose Gonzalez, Zoila Gonzalez,, and Jorge Gonzalez and wife Evelyn; three grandchildren, Breysol Barrios, Abraham Gonzalez, and Ezequiel Gonzalez; four siblings, Jaime Rivas, Antonio Rivas, Ariosto Rivas and wife Martha Crespo, and Maria Rivas; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Maximo Gonzalez and wife Yolanda Romero, Magdalena Gonzalez, Maria Gonzalez, Benjamin Gonzalez and wife Florencia Cabrera, Ruth Gonzalez and husband Manuel Alvaracin, and Marco Gonzalez; and many other family and friends.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut St., Trenton, NJ.  Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ.  Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.  Please visit Ines’ tribute page at www.brennacellinifuneralhomes.com
