Gerard Pierre-Charles

Gerard Pierre-Charles, 79 of Trenton, NJ entered into his eternal rest with the Lord on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  Gerard was born in Port au Prince, Haiti on February 2, 1944 to parents Nurval and Philomene Pierre-Charles.  He was employed as a mechanic for US Bonds in Flemington, NJ where he was a hard worker.  He was a dedicated family man who always helped others.  Gerard enjoyed watching soccer, wrestling, and CNN.  He enjoyed life and loved to dance.  Gerard was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Gerard is preceded in death by his parents Nurval and Philomene (Mesadieu) Pierre-Charles.  He is survived by his wife Marie Elifaite (Michel) Pierre-Charles; his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, his daughter Mireille Dossous and her son Steeve Pierre-Charles and great grandchildren Alisha Muriel Pierre-Charles, his daughter Claudia and husband Louis Clifford Semexan and their kids Christa Maria Semexan, Christopher Louis Semexan, Christian Cliff Semexan, and Christelle Islande Semexan; his daughter Ascania Pierre-Charles and her daughter Briana Ashlay Chaperon; his son Frantz James Pierre-Charles and wife Stephanie Marie Pierre-Charles and their son Frantz Pierre-Charles Jr.; and his son Fitz Gerald Pierre-Charles and wife Yasmeem and their children Camille Pierre-Charles, Cayden Pierre-Charles, Cassie Riley Pierre-Charles; siblings, Claude Ambroise and children, Claude Bernard Ambroise, Jihane Krista Ambroise, Marsha Ambroise; Yves Stanley Delmas; Daniel Pierre-Charles, Mona Pierre-Charles and sons Alex Prime and Derick Prime; Jean Candeler Pierre-Charles; Hubert Pierre-Charles; Renaud Pierre-Charles and his children, Renaud Pierre-Charles Jr., and Bryan Auclair, Yvrose et Charles Olivier and children Charles Olivier Jr., Daniel Olivier, Dinah Olivier Mustira and her children Xavier and Caleb Olivier and Kyra Mustira; Télémaque Jean-Baptiste and children Samora Jean-Baptiste, Teddy Jean-Baptiste, and Turnael Jean-Baptiste; Onel Morisset and children Gaelle Morisset, Onela Morriset; Onelson Morriset: Murielle Morisset, and Garlen Morisset; Vladimir Delva; Marie Yves Delmas; In-laws: Josianne Michel (Anouse), Jacques Michel, Aleus Michel (Louka), Frank Michel, Renoir Cadet, Edrice Sainval and children Edwin Sainval and Melissa Sainval.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, 626 So. Olden Ave., Trenton, NJ.  Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619 and Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the church prior to the mass.  Burial will follow the mass in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton, NJ.  Please visit Gerard’s tribute page at www.brennacellinifuneralhomes.com
