Carlos V. Alvarez

Carlos V. Alvarez, 64, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.  Born and raised in Cuenca, Ecuador, Carlos has resided in East Windsor for the past 35 years.  Carlos was employed as a forklift operator for Wesco in Cranbury, NJ for 18 years.  He enjoyed playing soccer and volleyball.  Carlos loved dancing and spending time with his beloved family.  He was a great dad who loved his children.  He was very hardworking and dedicated to his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Son of the late Maria Alvarez; Carlos is survived by his loving wife Piedad Almachi; his three beloved children, Veronica, Christian, and Kevin Alvarez; his two cherished grandchildren, Jayden and Jeremy Guaman; two siblings, Zoila Alvarez and husband Rene Bermejo, and Cecy Alvarez and husband Rigo Vega; two sisters-in-law, Carmen Almachi and husband Patricio Campoverde, and Elizabeth Almache and husband Wilmer Guzman; two brothers-in-law, Carlos Almache and wife Monica Delgado, and Francisco Almache and wife Stefania; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 151 N. Warren Ave., Trenton, NJ.  Family and friends may pay their respects Saturday morning from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.  Cremation will be held privately after the funeral mass.  Please visit Carlos’ tribute page at www.brennacellinifuneralhomes.com
