Carl Giambrone, 76, of Robbinsville, entered into his eternal rest on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident. He was formerly employed in sales at Coleman Buick. Carl was a member of the Central N.J. Antique Car Club and the Thunderbird Club. He was an avid model railroad American Flyer train collector with an extensive layout. His impressive layout was featured in the magazine “Classic Toy Trains,” an accomplishment he was extremely proud of. He was also a talented musician playing the trumpet professionally with the band Champagne for many years. In addition, Carl was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle, and friend.
Son of the late John and Mary (Asta) Giambrone; husband of the late Margaret Giambrone; brother of the late John A. Giambrone Jr., who was his twin. Carl is survived by his sister, Joan and husband Malcolm Reader of Boca Raton, FL; his nephew, John Carmen Giambrone and wife Kimberly of Hamilton; his niece, Jeanine Maloney of Lumberton; as well as other family and friends.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 PM at the funeral home followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Ln., Hamilton, NJ.
