Bertha Ann (Carson) Brands

EWING – Bertha A. Brands, 86, entered her Heavenly home Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Clover Meadows, Lawrenceville, NJ. 

Bertha was born in Newark, NJ and resided most of her life in Ewing.

She was employed by F. W. Woolworth for 39 years in Trenton, NJ. 

Her greatest joy was going to America’s Keswick with her husband Frank.  She loved to sing the old hymns and enjoyed tending

to her flowers, especially her violets.  She was a huge Yankees fan.

Bertha loved studying God’s word with the ladies at the Wednesday morning Bible study held at Central Baptist Church.

She was a member of Calvary Chapel in Ewing, NJ.

Bertha is preceded in death by her husband Frank and is survived by her faithful friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 21 at 12:00 PM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. 

Calling hours are from 11 am until the time of the service at noon. Burial will follow in Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ.
