Barbara L Shiarappa

Barbara L. Shiarappa, 100, previously of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on April 12, 2023 in the care of her granddaughter Stacy Tarcza Suta, her husband Tracy and great grandson Julian Suta of Richmond, Texas. Barbara was pre-deceased by her parents Otto Schulze and Lillian Cody Schulze, first husband Elmer Ford and her second husband Leonard J., Shiarappa, her sisters Pauline Kenworthy, Mary Hebert, Theresa Bierenfeld, Margaret Steinetz, Patsy Matera, Katherine Schulze, brothers, Thomas, Samuel, Michael, Francis, Richard and Charles Schulze. And by her children Barry Ford, Carol Ford Tarcza and Leonard J. Shiarappa Jr.  She was also pre-deceased by her great grandson Richard J. Ford, Jr.

Barbara constructed shelving during WWII and worked as a clerk for Adams and Sickles Pharmacy for over 20 years and Glendale Pharmacy for over 20 years.

She is survived by her grandkids Barry Ford Jr., Richard “Rick” Ford, Sr., Jason and Deborah Tarcza, Michael Kennelly, and Jason Shiarappa, granddaughters Stacy Tarcza Suta and Dawn Shiarappa.

Barbara is also survived by several great grandchildren, Krystle Ford, Aurelyn Arevalo, Barry Ford III, Brian Ford, Matthew Ford, Kassidy Ford, Kelly Tarcza, Lauren Tarcza, Julian Suta, Christopher Shiarappa and Sebastian Kennelly, and great-great grandchildren Oliva Ford, Ayvari, Rayven and River Ford-Hetzel.  Hunter and Gavin Ford and Sara and Anthony Shiarappa.

Over the past 100 years Barbara has touched a lot of people’s lives. Her most treasured thing in life was her family and friends and her Sunday dinners. And her never ending sweet tooth.
