Barbara Florence (Flesch) Butera

Barbara Florence Butera, 85, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Hamilton Continuing Care Center in Hamilton.  Born in Ewing, NJ, Barbara had been a lifelong area resident.  She met her late husband Salvatore at Motor Vehicle when they both worked there.  Barbara loved her faith, and was a member of the Capital Assembly of God.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Daughter of the late John A. and Frances E. (Dillon) Flesch; beloved wife of the late Salvatore Vincent Butera; mother-in-law of the late Carrie Butera; sister of the late Joan Edinger (Thomas), Marie Shanko (Richard), and John Flesch; aunt of the late Karen Franklin, Robert Flesch, and Thomas Edinger; sister-in-law of the late James J. Butera. Barbara is survived by her three children, John and James Butera, and Barbara and husband James Holt; two sisters-in-law, Carlene Flesch, and Mary Jo Butera (Paul); a brother-in-law, Frank Butera (Maureen); and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Hamilton Continuing Care Center for treating her like she was their mother.

Family and friends may call on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.  Christian funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Cremation will be held privately at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Hamilton Continuing Care Center, 1059 Edinburg Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08690.  Please visit Barbara’s tribute page at www.brennacellinifuneralhomes.com
